About Founder Jong H. Lee, CPA
Jong H. Lee is the company’s founder. It was his vision to build a company that served all of the financial needs of his clients--individuals, nonprofits and small businesses. He did not want to be limited by doing just taxes or accounting; rather, it was his goal to act as an advisor, to help his clients with financial planning, estate planning, cash management and business valuation--the entire financial life cycle.
Jong is a CPA and accounting college instructor with an MBA in Taxation and a DBA in Management. He is credentialed in CPA and Financial Forensics. He is an experienced business coach and seminar leader, excelling in cross-cultural business training and has taught courses in starting and running a profitable small business.
Jong Lee believes that small businesses have an obligation to be involved in their communities. He has been the Commissioner for the California State office of Economic Opportunity, the San Francisco Asian Art Museum and Oakland Community and Economic Development Commission.
Former Mayor Jerry Brown proclaimed March 5, 2004 Jong H. Lee Day for his philanthropic efforts to the Oakland community.
